I love Alice in Wonderland and kind of have a thing for the color blue which is becoming more and more apparent. When I saw this skirt in H&M I loved it and can't help but think now that my attraction to it might have something to do with Alice...

Here are a couple recent outfits pictures (I've been feeling kind of stressed and extremely exhausted from all this stuff from school recently...only a few weeks until its over, though!) My hair has also been bugging me A LOT recently...ugh. I love these socks though (although unclear in the picture, theyre a really nice shade of purple) and I got a zillion pairs of socks from We Love Colors (LOVE THEM!) Do you have any regrets? No, I don't believe in regrets because although its corny, it is true that the best way to learn is to make mistakes buuuuut I do regret cutting my hair back in october...grrrr so mad

Black Lace

So today I felt like wearing my new black lace top from H&M and decided to pair it with more lacy and feminine elements (the lacy tights, bow tie belt, and big flower in my hair). That's all for now!

wednesday addams goes to school

So today I wore one of my favorite tops. It is one of my favorites because it bears an undeniable resemblance to Wednesday Addams' trademark dress. I adore Wednesday and her devilish, dark, and 60s-ish style and was so happy to receive this top as one of my birthday presents a few months back. I decided to not go all-out wednesday addams today (no poison, saw, etc...) but one day maybe I'll do a photoshoot, that'd be fun! Anyway, I am wearing my top with vintage levi baggy "boyfriend" style shorts with bright candy red strappy miu miu flats that just got their first test drive in the world outside my closet! On a non-fashion related note in art class I'm actually very excited about our next project: painting a self portrait in the style of the famous red and blue Obama picture...Yes.

I like stripes a lot. I wear stripes a lot. Today, I am wearing stripes. Simple enough, right? Why couldn't more things in life be this simple and easy? You like something you do something. I think my lack of sleep is making me think unclear, but what I do know is that my love for stripes is true and it might be derived from my love for cute sailor inspired items--some of which I own and some of which are still in my dreams...

Recently

Here are some pictures from recently. I've been feeling kind of uninspired/lazy so my outfits have been on the boring side. Hopefully when the weather gets better my outfits and mood will follow.

Queen of Hearts

Today is a beautiful day (weather-wise)! Its sunny, semi-warm and wonderful. The downside is I have a bad headache...but you win some and you lose some, I guess. Anyway, today I wore a dress that I almost forgot I had. Its sort of like a jumper dress and its a cream color with a quirky heart print that I just love! Yesterday I got a couple new things that I will showcase soon...

Here is my outfit for today. It was cold, unfortunately, and this back and forth weather is getting me down! My whole outfit today was h&m, strange, right? I love the dress though...

70s Overload

Lately I've been feeling very inspired by the hippie-ness and florals of the 70s. I love the decade, but usually don't wear so many consistently 70s inspired outfits so often. I think part of the reason I am wearing so many florals AND flower crowns is my subconscious wishful thinking that this dreary rainy and still n0t warm enough weather will go away and be replaced by lovely flowers, bright sunny skies, and warmth. A girl can dream...
