1,2,1,2,3,4...

Here are a couple outfits from the last couple days. I have had final exams all this week and last week, and am so happy to say that today I am finally finished! I'm excited for the summer and maybe some summer-like weather hopefully? The outfits start from most to least recent this week. 

doll

Today my outfit made me feel like a little doll in a dollhouse. I wore a floral ruffled dress from Target, an old light denim jacket, and last but not least my Chloe shoes. I bought the Chloe heels about a year ago, but had yet to wear them until today. They were patiently waiting in their box for the perfect time which I guess was today.

its pooring, the old man is snoring...he went to bed and bumped his head and couldn't get up in the morning...

Today is a rainy day and it reminded me of that childhood rhyme. I decided to wear my new FAVORITE item: a floral corset from topshop that made me swoon as soon as I saw it on the website. It is so beautiful and I cannot resist a floral corset. I paired it with the american apparel harem pants in black, an old denim jacket, and white jazz shoes. I used to not like the rain so much, but it's kind of nice...

sailor in a tutu...

Today I felt like a little sailor in a tutu which is probably due to the fact that I wore stripe shirt (sailorish)+yellow tulle skirt (tutu-like). I really love this skirt and was so happy to find it about a year ago in a vintage shop. I also wore my new favorite blue sneakers and curled my hair.

And so are my shoes. 

Today I wore a pair of shorts from the H&M in NYC that I got there about a month ago. They are very comfortable and I really like the cut and subtle stripes. I wore them with a plain white t-shirt and a cozy navy sweater to keep me warm. Yes, I actually need to be worried about warmth in May! It was around 50 degrees this morning! Anyway, I also wore one of my most favorite necklaces (Yes, I have a necklace fetish), it is a casette tape and I adore it!

This is what I wore a couple days ago. I really like these pants (especially when worn with heels, but I don't like wearing heels to school that much), and they are really comfortable and I quite like the check print. I've realized that I really like mixing prints/patterns like these pants with a stripe top. I'm still experimenting with exactly what my style is which is part of the beauty of fashion and the fact that style can evolve continuously. I am starting to discover more of what I like, and focusing on that vs. being sort of "over-inspired" by other things if you know what I mean (kind of confusing, but makes sense in my head.)
